Mathematical Notes
Here I document problems I have explored, both solved and unsolved, and share observations and partial explanations.
About this site
This site contains mathematical problems and investigations arising from such problems. Much of the work is based on using computational experiments to handle heavy calculations, freeing me to observe and explain patterns.
Topics I return to frequently include number theory, real analysis, and fractal geometry. My aim with this site is not to present finished results, but to document patterns, questions, and partial explanations that arise during problem-solving.
Currently investigating
- Exploring alternate versions of the Mandelbrot set
- Understanding how graphing calculators like Desmos perform computations
- Modeling evolution using differential equations
